Chef German Rizzo, born and raised in Turin, Italy, brings a wealth of culinary expertise to his work. After training at the Culinary Art School U. Ubertini in Turin, Chef Rizzo gained experience in Italy, Denmark, Sweden, and Canada. Now based in New York, he has successfully opened Plado Tasting Bar in the East Village, L'Artista Italian Kitchen in Hamilton Heights, and previously Vitae Osteria in Astoria. Formally executive chef for the renowned Cipriani Group. Chef Rizzo's dedication to Italian cuisine and innovative flair have earned him accolades, including being a finalist at the Food-Network Supermarket Stakeout and winning the 2018 Little Big Italy competition. His passion and skill create exceptional dining experiences.
